FK UNAIR Awards Dutch Anesthesiology Professor

UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA NEWS – Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held an Adjunct Professorship Award Presentation to Ass. Prof. Liong An Liem, MD., Ph.D., FIPP from Maastricht UMC + Netherland, Anesthesiology and Pain Management Department. The awarding ceremony was held at AULA FK UNAIR, on 27 June 2019. The awarding ceremony was attended by Dean of FK UNAIR Prof. Dr. Soetojo, dr., Sp. U, Director of Universitas Airlangga Hospital Prof. Dr. Nasronudin, dr., Dp.PD-KPTI, and UNAIR Rector represented by Vice Rector 1 Prof. Djoko Santoso, dr., Ph.D., K-GH., FINASIM.

INSBIOMM, Improving World Health Safety Through Collaborative Research between Researchers

UNAIR NEWS – The threat of infectious diseases has the potential to kill thousands and even millions of people every year. The threat appears as an outbreak that can damage public health, national security, and integrity. The disease consists of influenza, tuberculosis, malaria, infections that are resistant to antibiotics, HIV/AIDS. Responding to this problem, Institute of Tropical Desease (ITD) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) in collaboration with Indonesian National Army Health Center (PUSKES TNI) held an international conference titled Infectious Disease, Biothreats and Military Medicine (INSBIOMM) on Tuesday, August 27.

One of oldest universities in Malaysia explores potential partnership with UNAIR

UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA NEWS – The efforts made by Universitas to achieve world-class university have received appreciation from one of the institutions from neighboring countries, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARC). TARC visited UNAIR on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. The arrival of TARC was an effort to explore the collaboration between the two universities in the academic and non-academic fields. The meeting took place in the Rector’s Meeting Room on the 4th floor of UNAIR Management Office. The event was attended by representatives of administration and internationalization division of TARC, Prof. Say Sok Wan, Dean of TARC Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Karthiyani, Vice-Rector I UNAIR, Prof. Djoko Santoso, dr., Ph.D., K-GH., FINASIM, representative of Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) and several faculty leaders.

Release 1350 Students of KKN SKIM 1, Prof. Djoko: This Is Improvement of Leadership

UNAIR NEWS – Vice Rector officially released a total of 1,350 students from Community Service Program (SKN 1) of Universitas Airlangga I Prof. Dr. Djoko Santoso, Ph.D., K-GH., FINASIM., Tuesday morning (July 2) at Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) Campus C UNAIR. Community Service Program is a compulsory program followed by students towards the end of their time in college. Precisely as part of realizing the tri dharma value, which includes education, research, and service. A total of 1,350 students consisted of students from all of UNAIR faculties. They will be in Surabaya, Gresik, Lamongan, Jember, Banyuwangi, Tuban, and Bandung. For those in Bandung, KKN program is Citarum Harum and working with Kodam (Military Regional Command) 39.
